SpiceJet 20th Anniversary: Celebrating Two Decades of Soaring Together
On May 23, 2025, SpiceJet completed a remarkable 20-year journey in Indian aviation. From its first take-off in 2005 to becoming one of India’s most recognized airlines, this milestone was not just a celebration of time—but of people, memories, resilience and growth.
To mark this special occasion, grand celebrations took place across all airports and offices where SpiceJet operates. From early morning, the terminals came alive with festive decorations in our brand colors. Check-in counters, boarding gates and lounges reflected the pride of 20 years, with vibrant standees, balloons and banners.
The heart of the celebration was the team. Cake-cutting ceremonies were held at every station, led by our ground staff, flight crew and airport managers. Smiles, cheers and group photos filled the air, bringing together staff across departments like one big family. Many stations also involved airport partners and customers, turning it into a shared moment of pride.
Passengers were greeted with warm smiles, thank-you messages and commemorative tokens as a gesture of appreciation. The mood was festive and many travellers joined in for photos and stories, expressing how SpiceJet has been part of their journeys for years.
The celebration was not just about the past—it inspired confidence and joy for the future. For many employees, it was a moment of reflection and renewed motivation. Seeing the airline they helped build cross two decades filled them with pride and purpose. The message was clear: we have come this far together and we will fly even higher in the years ahead.
